You may be looking for a great new domain name from BrandBucket. That's swell, but just know that the name you buy may have been poached (stolen) from an unsuspecting victim. I had a dream of starting a business as a single woman trying to get on her feet. I started designing a website and had a poster printed with the name I was thinking. No one else saw the poster or the website. Nothing was live. Somehow the name got poached immediately and ended up on BrandBucket along with a ripped off version of the logo I designed. Don't fill the pockets of cowards. Look elsewhere. Message me if you want more details or if you know of other places I can spread the word about how BrandBucket is a harmful and predatory company. Brandbucket is dishonest. BrandBucket steals domain names and tries to sell them back with a 50x markup or more. If you see other reviews that say BrandBucket is like a digital squatter, heed their warnings. Because it's true. BrandBucket is an immoral company.

As a long time domain investor (for over 15 years) with many brandable domain sales on BrandBucket, I can confidently say it's been a fantastic platform to reach potential buyers. @Amy_Wheeler The name you had in mind might have been on a list belonging to another domain investor who uses tools to identify daily potentially valuable domains. These investors often focus on keywords, trends and other criteria, which could explain why the name appeared on BrandBucket. It's understandable to be disappointed, especially if you had your heart set on a specific name. But seeing it on BrandBucket doesn't mean it was "stolen." It just means someone else identified its potential value first. It even happens to me for time to time. If I don't buy quickly a brandable domain in my watchlist, another investor or end-user may buy it first. So it is was just a timing matter... and please understand that this is a full time creative job for some of us. Compare it with the collectibles market. If you don't buy a popular unique numbered edition first for a low price, someone else will buy it and make a profit when the collectible gets resold. It is a free market and domain investing is 100% legal everywhere in the world. On the positive side, BrandBucket can still be a great resource for you! They have a massive inventory of domains, so you might find an even better alternative that wasn't on your initial radar. Their search filters and curation can help you discover hidden gems with strong brand potential. It's important to remember that there are literally tens of thousands of domains dropping (becoming available) or auctioned every single day. For buyers, especially those focused on building startups, it can be overwhelming to sort through that massive volume. That's where BrandBucket's curation comes in. Serial brandable domain investors, like myself, often use filters and tools to find and register the most promising domains โ€“ ones with strong brand potential. BrandBucket's marketplace helps with that discovery process, making it more likely our domains will be seen by the right buyers. Now, of course, not every domain will sell overnight. Some take many years to sell. But BrandBucket's exposure has definitely helped me find buyers for domains that might otherwise have languished unseen. They handle the marketing exclusively and work with qualified leads, which is a big advantage when you're competing with such a high volume of domains. Big thumbs up for BrandBucket๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘

As a seller, this is a great marketplace. BB do all of the hard work for me, from promotion, to negotiation, right through to sale of my domains. All I have to do is transfer my sold domains and collect the money!
