Carta is a great equity platform - I'm lucky that the startups ive worked with in the past use them, plus they really sell the value of equity and email notify staff of vesting.
It bit expensive but worth it. We use Carta to manage our cap table, pro forma modeling, pass all board resolutions. We also are power users of their Total Comp product which has been instrumental in how we design compensation philosophy, comp bands, variable commission plans, etc.
