Great prices if you can actually receive the drugs. Shipping department is terrible. They will NOT put the correct address on the label, so it is returned. This has happened twice and now they refuse to reship or refund. I actually need these this medication on a daily basis and have now been without for over three weeks. The doctor ordered from my local GoodRX pharmacy that I used before.
As with most low-cost options, everything is great as long as you follow the happy path, but as soon as you need anything different, all bets are off. In my case, I realized that due to a weird refill schedule at my previous pharmacy, I was going to run out of one of my four medications towards the end of a three-month overseas trip. On my doctor's advice, I emailed CostPlus on Tuesday to see if I could get an early refill, and only just now (Friday) got a response directing me to call Customer Service and press the number for prescribers. Finally talked to a representative, then a pharmacist, who said he would see what he could do, but I'm concerned the refill won't reach me before I leave in a week. Three stars because they're good as long as you don't need anything special, and because I did actually finally manage to talk to a human who could help. Just make sure you deal with them well in advance and have a backup plan in case they're too slow.
I was annoyed at my local pharmacy trying to overcharge (by 10X!) for my 2 prescriptions. So I asked my dr to transfer these to costplus, and ordered refills for both, with standard shipping. Both arrived 6 days later (actually 1 day sooner than estimated!). Price was on par with the lowest I could find with Goodrx. I'm sold.
By far the worst experience I've ever had with a pharmacy. There have been countless times in which my prescription was delayed delivering to me for a myriad of reasons on their end, causing me to go without my meds for days on end several times. The only pro is the cost but I guess you get what you pay for.
My physician placed 2 prescriptions with Cost Plus Drugs in July. I received an email from Cost Plus Drugs that the prescriptions had been received. However, when I went to order them, they weren't showing on my prescription manager dashboard. The "contact us" link only provides a form to fill out and submit, not a phone number. I submitted the form and after a week of nothing but automated "we have received your email" and no response, I tried again. Still nothing and my prescriptions weren't showing on the dashboard. I finally dug into the area of their website for providers and found a phone number. From there I was able to actually talk to a person who couldn't find the prescriptions in the system anywhere and asked that I have my doctor call those in again. My physician happily did so, and I again, received emails from Cost Plus Drugs that both were received. Again, those are not available in the prescription manager and Cost Plus Drugs can't find the prescriptions. While I was super happy to get a much better price on these prescriptions, the fact that my doctor has had to contact them twice to submit the prescriptions, they still can't find them in their system, yet their system is sending me emails that they have those prescriptions is pissing me all the way off. It has now been since July 21 that I have been trying to get these processed so I can receive them. It's a good thing they aren't urgent or I would be screwed.
I've never had more problems in my life attempting to get my prescription. I have spoken to customer service approx 10 times. I was informed that my doc office sent a non-generic script to them. Spoke to my doc's office advising them of the problem, and they again sent a new script with the generic. I've been going back and forth. The answer people are saying everything is OK, everything is in order. The pharmacist says no so I had my doc's office call them direct. It still isn't straightened out. It's imperative I get this script immediately
Customer support is terrible. Drug order has been hung up for two months. The contact us feature on their site is useless. I guess you get what you pay for.
