I use the paid version of this product. To me, it's a love-hate (mostly hate) relationship with it. The product does a good job transcribing and summarizing. However, a couple of big issues for me:
- Sometimes, with longer meetings, the transcribing tool chokes. I lost transcripts from a couple of important meetings and I had to go back and forth with their tech support team to retrieve them. Sometimes you lose them. Currently, if you start recording, it wont stop unless you reload the page.
- But my biggest disappointment is that when you connect your calendar, Laxis will turn by default a setting (without letting you know) where the will auto-share the meeting summary with all meeting participants
I had a meeting today and when some of the participants left, those of us who stayed were discussing things we didn't want to share with the other people. Guess what? Unbeknownst to me, Laxis sent the meeting notes to everyone. Not cool
Needless to say, I won't be renewing my membership for this half-baked product when my subscription expires...
