Congratulations on the development of Netmaker, a powerful tool for creating fast, flexible, and secure virtual networks! The ability to automate network infrastructure, declaratively control access, and establish connections between various entities such as VMs, servers, containers, and IoT devices is truly impressive. As a software developer, I understand the significance of such a solution in simplifying and optimizing network management. To gain a deeper understanding of Netmaker's capabilities, I would like to know more about the underlying technology and mechanisms that enable its functionality. How does Netmaker automate network infrastructure? Are there specific protocols or algorithms utilized to efficiently configure and manage network resources? Furthermore, the declarative access control aspect is intriguing. Can you elaborate on how Netmaker enables users to define and enforce access control policies in a declarative manner? Are there any fine-grained authorization features that allow for granular control over network resources? Additionally, forging connections between diverse entities is crucial for seamless communication within a network. Could you provide more insights into how Netmaker establishes connections between VMs, servers, containers, and IoT devices? Does it leverage specific networking protocols or mechanisms to ensure secure and efficient data transfer? Overall, Netmaker appears to be a comprehensive solution for network management, offering speed, flexibility, and security. Congratulations once again on developing such a powerful tool. I'm eager to learn more about the technical aspects of Netmaker and how it simplifies the complexities of network infrastructure for users.

Great as a hobby project and falls short when it comes to setup and weird bugs. Errors remain non-descript and confusing. For example, the Windows client repeatedly kills itself trying to upgrade its own client -- while the client is in use. Works on Linux, not as straightforward on Windows. Lastly, relay feature being moved to EE breaks existing setups and being forced to use a TURN server rather than specifying a specific server to tunnel traffic removes significant control over how traffic moves -- I believe to be an absolute necessity in a mesh network product.
