Otter is a game-changer for anyone who needs to capture and organize conversations or meetings efficiently. The real-time transcription is incredibly accurate, and I love how it syncs perfectly with voice recordings, making it easy to revisit key moments. The ability to highlight, search, and share notes streamlines collaboration with my team. It’s a must-have app for saving time and staying organized! My only feedback would be to improve handling of accents for even better accuracy. Overall, highly recommended!

I have been using Otter for a couple of months and it really helps me with my meetings. It gives me a nice summary of keywords and full transcription. Moreover, the competitive things for me are using annotation and commenting on important parts of the text (transcription of meeting). Besides, Otter's integrations are really awesome. Personally, I use Google Meet more due to it being my preferable way of communication, and also Otter offers to use its integration for free. All in all, I really like Otter and look forward to bringing more features (like suggestions while editing transcriptions, what Grammarly does, or a summary of the meeting!) soon.

I love Otter. The way it captures your entire meeting and then summarises it in a useful way takes away all the stress of taking notes during the meeting. So many times, I am focussed on note taking to a point where I am just a scribe and not actually contributing to the meeting in a positive way. Now that I have otter, I can fully focus and actually maximising my value during the meeting and not worry about forgetting the smaller points or jotting down everything.

What's great

I liked this product so far, nearly flawless at taking meeting notes and providing the summary. Just one caveat, I am not able to conceal its presence in the meeting. The other person is clearly able to see that the meeting is being recorded. If Otter can do something about it, will be great.

What needs improvement

The other person with whom I am having the meeting should not be able to see that Otter is recording the meeting.

Otter Chat is awesome for creating quick follow up emails thanking clients for their time, reviewing what was discussed, and creating an agenda for a follow up a call. If I have a follow up call with a client I will go to my Otter Chat from my last call with that client and ask "What were the most important topics on this call" to get a quick and succinct list of everything I discussed with that client to prep for the follow up meeting.

This app behaves like a virus. After using it just once, it automatically accessed my contacts and sent unsolicited invitations to everyone—without my permission. This is an outrageous violation of privacy and incredibly embarrassing. Not only is this predatory behavior, but it's also a huge red flag for anyone considering downloading this. Stay far away. There are much better and more respectful alternatives out there.

It's hard for me to remember what I say even if I *JUST* said it, so this is a super valuable daily tool for me. Keeps me on track during lectures and meetings. The new AI features are great for parsing through long transcripts for specific info and for identifying and summarizing themes that span multiple meetings. I really like their UI and I'm excited for their upcoming releases. Thanks, Otter!

Super-useful -- I'm on many zoom calls, and I need to keep track of idea generation & action items from these. Otter has been very helpful, and friction level is low. It automatically follows me to my meetings (and even went to some meetings I skipped... whups.) Takes screenshots, very searchable - I switched to paid almost immediately.

I find Otter.ai useful for capturing conversations within my team. I hit record before brainstorming sessions. I personally review transcripts to highlight decisions. I use Otter.ai to transcribe meetings for my team. I start each call with recording enabled. I personally correct speaker names afterwards. It generates summaries which I share immediately. My team now relies on these notes for quick reference. Otter has become essential for capturing our discussions.
