Have been using Polywork the past month to seek beta testers for my new launched product and it has been extremely easy and helpful! Folks from all walks of life on Polywork are willing to chime in and are responsive. Definitely a better platform than if you were to message people out of whim on Linkedin/Slack etc. One thing to be cautious is even though there are many well-know individuals created their profile on Polywork, they tend to be inactive and unreachable, hence it might lose appeal to users at some point.
There are some functionalities that needed to be improved upon though. When I searched for example investors who would like to beta test new product, there are 4000 results popped up with no advanced filter and no bookmark, hence it was very difficult for one to filter and keep track of their messaged individuals as the list is curated quite randomly instead of alphabetically or in other logical order.
In addition, there were multiple bugs on the page e.g: the same profile would show up twice side by side, appearing on the same page.
It's a good experience so far, needs work on UX and functionality improvement as well as more participants on the platform clearly, otherwise it would be the same group of loyal users who stay active.
I started using Polywork recently and was pleasantly surprised by the deep well of opportunities listed here. It was nice to see a site for someone like me -- I dont just have a job, i'm also on boards, i'm an investor, I want to participate in community projects. Polywork was great at helping surface interesting opportunities for active people looking to get involved and grow themselves across many dimensions.
