Switched to Resend for Signum's transactional emails after getting burned by another provider's deliverability. Setup took maybe 30 minutes including DNS verification. Using it for watchlist alerts — when a domain a user is tracking changes risk score they get an email. Works reliably, the logs actually show you what happened to each email which sounds basic but wasn't always the case with what I used before.

What needs improvement

Would love more examples for Python/FastAPI specifically, most of the docs lean toward JS. Had to figure out a few things by trial and error.

vs Alternatives

Transactional emails for Signum — watchlist alerts, welcome emails, weekly digest. Needed something with clean API and reliable deliverability.

I love resend, but I wish there was a way to configure it such that people don't have to set up their own domain on resend for my web app to work. I am building a cold email marketing platform by the way and that means sending tons of emails from one domain.

The amount of mental energy I have to spend on configuring/maintaining email actions has basically gone to zero after starting with Resend. I heard about them when I had a specific use case I was trying to solve and I was amazed how quickly and easily I was able to integrate it, and even moreso that it has continued to work so reliably. In my experience, email providers and apis tend to be somewhat fragile, so I am glad I found Resend.

This service is just not reliable at all. It's currently taking me over 20 minutes to send a single email. I can see they've been sent in the dashboard, and configurations are exactly the same as yesterday when they were working perfectly. If i receive decent support I will change my rating, otherwise I will be changing my provider. This is a critical part of our infrastructure and I require the highest quality levels.

Switched to Resend after all the low-code/no-code options failed to deliver their promised simplicity. As a founder already tackling the myriad challenges with your product, emails are the last thing you'd want to struggle with. However, it's tough to ignore them as they serve as a critical interface to connect with users. But we were lucky. We found Resend. It's seamless, reliable and consistent, and we haven't had to look back on our emails since we first integrated them. Resend is a no-brainer because they understand the developer.

Hi @zenorocha Congratulations to your launch. This really looks like something I will integrate in my apps. For me, observability is the main paintpoint when using other tools. In my opinion, a dashboard that visualises the logs would be a nice add-on. I would see bounce-rates, spam-rates, etc. immediately. When this information can be collected in a structured way, it could be very helpful for data-analysis, e.g. to see whether a combination of words triggers the likelihood of someone marking email as spam, etc. All the best for your launch, what I see now, I think it is a great product!
