Slack is great, and the different channels are awesome. My only complain would be when I don't check a channel for a few days, and there's hundreds of messages. It would be nice to have a summary, but I heard Slack just came out with that

I love all the flexibility to extend the platform with custom emojis, bots, so rich. The recent app GUI refresh made it a bit easier to find what's relevant and what to ignore
Easy to use for simple tasks and startups. Once the tasks become more complex/ more groups etc it is not always clear to keep the oversight/overview once you are in different channels/ conversations.
Slack's user-friendly interface and organized workspace structure make it relatively easy for teams to adapt and start using it efficiently. The desktop app for Windows, along with desktop notifications, keeps users up to date.
