I've recently started content creation journey and found myself needing to transcribe long video/audio pieces. Given how common this need must be, I anticipated that there would be plenty of high-quality tools available to ease my task. To my surprise, though, there seemed to be no efficient solutions for transcribing content that stretches to an hour, even among paid products, let alone free ones.
Then I discovered TinyStudio, the first and only tool that successfully meets my three key criteria: it's user-friendly, provides high-quality transcription, and ideally, it's free.

I won't say it's perfect and there are some small UI glitches, but overall it solves my problems!
TinyStudio is:
- Tiny, it's with a small footprint yet just works
- Fast, it creates text from speech fast like no other services could, yet in great quality
- Actively involving, the creator listened and kept improving it
It's now my goto srt-gen/ podcast-to-blog tooling.
