Detezo uses QR codes to enable phone-free spaces:
1. Hosts create a zone that generates a QR code
2. Attendees scan the QR code, which blocks all apps besides emergency services
3. When the event concludes, the host ends the zone and all apps are re-enabled
HOSTS
Detezo zones are both enforceable and scalable. QR codes allow phone-free enforcement entirely for free no matter how large your event. A configurable Host Message is used to inform attendees of the proper event etiquette or to provide a personal touch.
ATTENDEES
No registration or user profiles needed. Simply scan the QR code and phone enforcement takes effect. Emergency services are always enabled! When the event ends, the host re-enables all phones at the push of a button. If you leave early, scan the QR code as you exit.
Accessibility API
This app uses the Accessibility API to provide an overlay on other apps when users enter specific event zones. This feature is triggered when users scan a QR code upon entering an event or function, which helps them stay focused on the event by restricting access to other apps during this time.
The Accessibility API is utilized solely to display the overlay on top of other apps, ensuring that the user remains engaged within the event zone. This overlay helps users by limiting distractions from other apps while they are participating in the event or function. This feature is designed with the intention of enhancing the user’s event experience and is not used for any other purposes or data collection.
Experiences. Not Distractions.
