Announcing the 2019 Golden Kitty Award Winners

Our annual Golden Kitty awards celebrate all the great products that makers have launched throughout the year. This year saw the most votes ever.

On January 28th, we also hosted a Global Meetup Day to make this year’s awards even more special. Makers across five continents and 35 countries collaborated to successfully host 73 community meetups IRL. I really enjoyed meeting many of you at the LA meetup yesterday. :)

So without further ado, here are this year's Golden Kitty award winners in each of the 23 product categories, as well as two data-driven (non-voting) awards for Community Member of the Year and Maker of the Year. We tallied the votes across each category discounting inauthentic voting behavior.

Marie is the co-founder of FYI and Product Habits and has had a varied career that includes launching multiple products like The Remote Work Report, Freelancer Resources List and Tradeoffs, working on multi-billion dollar M&A deals and winning awards for her comedy writing.

🤗 Community Member of the Year 2019: Kunal Bhatia

Kunal is the co-founder of SlidesUp and a value-adding community member across the board. He’s submitted 47 products to the community, and throughout the year made time to support makers through maker goals, online discussions and international meetups.
