I'm sure it'll take, I'm just worried about the safety concerns of this. I hate to be "that guy" that says you might need to limit the volume, you know... if you want your friend\son\daughter to hear the truck coming.
I hear people blasting music from their phone and bike-affixed speaker systems all the time, leading me to believe there might be a market for this. Personally, I'll stick with my headphones but this is pretty cool.

so don't ever do any tricks on it? you'll destroy a speaker rather than scratching your deck.
seems insanely impractical. would make sense for a longboard, but not this.
Does it come with Kick Push by Lupe Fiasco already installed?

This definitely seems better-suited to going on a longboard than a shortboard. Less likely to cover the speaker with your foot or crush it with an impact. Would love to see @boostedboards add this to their boards (since on an electric board you don't need to worry so much about weight)
@rrhoover - I just did a ski trip with my brother-in-law and he had a bluetooth speaker blasting from under his jacket & it was beyond cool on the long ski lifts. I think there may be something to this as well :)

ditto - seems to show a cruiser, which is easy to trick and beat on...you should sell - wait for it - side rails, 80's style, that extend beyond casing depth...that would resolve the issues that I see, beyond covering a speaker with a foot
