Manage and present your data better with the latest Equals update

Spreadsheets are the cornerstone of data, enduring while other tools have come and gone. Why? Because you can interact with your data on a big canvas. But setting them up is tough since your data always comes from somewhere else, requiring constant CSV exports and imports.

Thatā€™s where Equals comes in. Founded by Intercom veterans Bobby Pinero and Ben McRedmond, Equals is a smart spreadsheet tool that connects to your data source, pulls it in, organizes it, and lets you interact with it. The best part? It generates entire dashboards and reports with a few clicks for easy team presentations. The team won a Golden Kitty Award in 2023 for their efforts.

Now theyā€™re back with Equals 24, the biggest release since its launch. Equals 24 features a redesigned query experience, more flexible charts, ARRAY formulas, and more.

There are three main parts to the update:

Explorer: The new explorer function offers a faster query experience, full-screen editor, and instant data previews, making it quicker and easier to find the data you need at a momentā€™s notice.

Spreadsheet: The core of Equals has been updated with improved chart-building functionality, new ARRAY features, and support for up to 500,000 rows per sheet.

Dashboards: Dashboards now feature classic or modern themes and allow you to create new charts directly from dashboards without needing to set up a new sheet.

Embracing tech nostalgia, the team is celebrating this launch by sending out hard copy demos complete with their own box, reminiscent of picking up a hard copy version of Excel in the '90s.

You donā€™t always need a designer with killer Figma skills, sometimes you just need a quick asset to share on social, or at an event. Thatā€™s why Canva is so popular and the second most shouted out design tool on Product Hunt. It makes it easy for anyone to quickly create graphic assets.Ā

ā€œWe use Canva in-house to enhance our marketing, engaging customers with visually striking content,ā€ said the team behind FISKL.
