I've used D5 since 2020, first as an student, and I gotta say it was the most begginer freindly and most quality software I tried. Now as a more expirience renderist, all the updates they've been puttin out, D5 Render is one of the most complete rendering softwares out there, also the devs are really listening to the feedback we users give. I totally recommend using D5 as your main rendering software!
"The best render engine for value for money"
What do you like best about D5 Render?
After trying several render engines, I can say that D5 is undoubtedly the one with the best value for money.
One feature that made me love it immediately is the real-time render. While designing with SketchUp it is absolutely essential for me to have immediate feedback on what I am doing. Also, the real-time render really saves you a lot of time, and if there is something that is not the way you want it, you change it on the fly.
One addition that is not at all obvious is the presence of a lot of textures, and a lot of assets.
Another feature that makes D5 the best I've tried is the simplicity of use: there are some render engines that can have a slightly higher quality, but it takes many courses and many hours to master the program, with D5 on the other hand it's all very clear and just a few simple tutorials are enough.
It is a program that is updated very often, including several new textures and new assets, also the team is always very attentive to what users suggest.

What do you dislike about D5 Render?
There are some things that could currently be improved:
- camera movement through hardware such as SpaceMouse is not supported
- the available furnishings are very "oriental"
- there is some clutter in the names of textures and assets, so it is not super fast to find what you are looking for
- some textures may have a higher quality

It's a very intuitive and easy of use software, i love how the live View Ray racing les you preview how your final image Will look like, the camera adjustments and it's Quality les you get photorealistic images in no time.

I have been a usI would like to tell you that I have… I would like to tell you that I have been a renderer for more than 20 years, I was a beta tester of Artlantis in several versions, I was also a Lumion user for several years, when I started working on D5 I realized that this program was what I was looking for, especially because of its ease. to manage, the result of the images, best of all, it is free I congratulate the D5 grouper of several rendering programs, Artlantis (betatester), Lumion, etc., but I think that D5 Render is an easy-to-use program with professional results and what's more, it is completely free. I want to express my congratulations to the D5 group for their project.

At firts i was skeptical about this software, i started using vray, then lumion for efficiency and faster render times, then i discovered lumion and was happy for a while but no too much people can afford original pro license, so i turn my head to d5 render from almost the very beggining of the software when you could purchase a lifetime license, and from that day forward i regret not buying it
Otimo software para maquete eletronica, atualmente, dos programas no mercado voltados para arquiteto que trabalham com 3D, esse sem duvida é o melhor, mais intuitivo e rapido de se trabalhar. Alem das ferrasmentas e da biblioteca deles serem otimas e muito organizadas!
