How to build strong relationships in the digital era?

Maybe it's just me and that I live far from a big city but I suspect this is true for a lot of people in tech... With most of us now working remotely and connecting only on digital channels I feel making good reliable (long term) connections professionally is getting harder. How do you balance digital and in person networking?

Comments -> DM -> Call! Just hopped on a call with @jgani today! Was super cool to hear his founder story - if anybody gets the chance to hop on a call with him definitely do he has some gems to share

Give your full attention when someone's talking. Don't use mobile during the conversation.

In the digital era, building strong relationships hinges on consistent, authentic communication and the willingness to listen and adapt to each other's needs. Leveraging technology to facilitate meaningful interactions, rather than letting it be a barrier, can deepen connections in profound ways.

Don't just text, get face-to-face (virtually or literally)! Video calls and virtual hangouts can build rapport, and attending industry events when you can keeps things real. P.S. I am personally in love with zoom coffee meetings with leople from linkedin, whom I have never seen in person
