BatteryBud shows every battery you own in your Mac menu bar: this Mac, other Macs, iPhone, iPad, AirPods left bud, right bud and case, Beats, keyboard, mouse, gaming controllers, UPS, and more. It keeps a charge history, health and cycle count for each one, and your iPhone and iPad report over Wi-Fi after a one-time cable setup. It records each charging session, how long it took and how fast it charged. Pay once, use forever, a year of updates included.
I built BatteryBud because of the AirPods case. Mine always died at the wrong moment, and macOS only shows the case level while a bud is inside with the lid open, so I kept opening the case to check. That annoyed me enough to write an app.
BatteryBud sits in the menu bar and shows every battery I own in one click: this Mac, other Macs, iPhone, iPad, AirPods left bud, right bud and case, Beats, and the keyboard and mouse. It keeps a history for each device, with every charging session and how fast it charged. It tracks maximum capacity and cycle count on the Mac, iPhone and iPad, and it can alert you when a device drops below a level you pick.
Two things I wanted from the start. Your battery data stays on your Macs, so there is no account and no cloud. And you pay once. $19 ($9 for the first 10 customers), one Mac at a time, a year of updates included.
