Should I build it?
I was thinking of building an in-app messaging as a service. Kinda similar to what whatsapp does as an app - groups, user-user conversations etc.,
But instead of a seperate app, I wanna provide an in-app solution which you can embed in your app.
Pain points - mentions, realtime, messages, notifications, photos, voice, maybe video too. etc.,
Is there scope for this? I see a few products in...

I was fooled again
Yesterday I saw a product was launched and I liked it bought immediately (because there was no free trial) but I didn't like the product. Asked for a refund got a mail back saying they'll give me extra credits. But I asked for a refund and ... Dead silence :(
Looking back at the product page there were quite a few testimonies and said that if you're not satisfied 100% money back. but I missed...

My first thoughts on opening the website are "It looks like notion or obsidian. Let me close it" - Because a lot of alternatives to them are being launched that's the kind of impression I have if i see something similar.
You got a very long page with multiple clickable sections in every section. Too lengthy and effort needed to get a clear picture. Better have multiple pages and highlight most...

Twitter Blue could be a good move. A lot of people have seen increase in engagement with Blue.

definitely if you look at it financially. Twitter needs to pay $1 Billion for loans every year. He's losing money like crazy and twitter is not paying for services it's availing. Like they don't pay the HQ building rent for a few months now. barely made $11 million with Twitter Blue while losing near 50% of ad revenue. Now trying to make money by hyping crypto like dogecoin. Honestly we can...

Twitter seems to have lost the plot
And the people who pay for Twitter too(maybe)
In a Social Media app the product is you and you are being sold to it's advertisers. In creating a Product the most important thing is it's sense of purpose.
It's important to note that both of those check marks were ticked by Twitter previously. It was a social media app. and it was a professional networking app.

In that case PH might not be a good place for you. In PH if your product is enterprise, complex, costly most people here might not even take a look at your site much less upvote it. Although you might get some visibility but it'll not be worth your time. I'd suggest reaching out to companies and company employees that might find value in your product.
Most of the products here have a one line...

Twitter's API $42,000/m for Business Now. Positive or negative for the environment? Alternatives? 🤔

Is RSS still relevant?
I keep seeing content sites like Medium, Hashnode, etc., providing the RSS feed. Is it still relevant?
I would like to know your thoughts. Do you use RSS or provide RSS for your products? If yes, What's the impact? is there any?

Depends on your customers mostly. The main factors I would consider before making that decision are:
1. Frequency of Customer Usage
2. Does your product provide enough value for customers to convince them to upgrade after freemium
3. Ratio of paying users vs freemium users (estimated)
4. Cost to the company(CTC)
I believe freemium is good with some limitations as long as the cost to the...
