How do you go from 0 to 1?

Let me tell you a brief story: some weeks ago, I decided to create a simple digital product that included a few templates and a free version, I'd spend about 3 weeks creating the whole stuff (many hours of hard work), and then I promoted the free version in different websites... the lack of attention was overwhelming (nobody downloaded the free version)... it felt like I wasted so much time... I've realized that I don't have a community. What did you do to attract your first persons? I'm new here BTW, feel free to reach me out, I'm a web coder and designer.

Hi Rodrigo, Community is a big part of launching as solopreneur or indiehacker. You should focus on providing quality and authentic help to other people in sites like ProducHunt and X. Without really asking for anything back you'll differentiate yourself from so many others who are just following "support for their launch". It's a long game but do it genuinely and you'll receive tons of support when you release your products in the future. Good luck!

@josej30 For sure I'll take your advice into account. I'll get working on my next product this day. By the way, I love your idea of Clubistry.

Community is important, and you surely feel the lack of it on resources like PH and X when you don't have followers and need support. To create a community on PH you need to engage as much as possible in discussions, launches (leaving comments and reviews) and be helpful. The thing I see now is that it's work not for a month or two, but maybe for half a year or a whole year at least, and it's worth being active on other platforms too (like on theme-related Discord servers or subreddits).

Attracting the initial audience for a new digital product can indeed be challenging, especially without an established community. One effective strategy is to leverage existing platforms and networks to showcase your product. Consider reaching out to relevant communities or forums where your target audience congregates. Additionally, utilize social media channels to share engaging content related to your product and interact with potential users. Collaborating with influencers or bloggers in your niche can also help increase visibility. Moreover, optimizing your product's website for search engines and investing in targeted advertising can draw organic traffic. Remember, building a community takes time and consistent effort, so stay patient and keep refining your approach. Also, consider exploring alternative marketing channels like affiliate programs or partnerships with related businesses to expand your reach further. For instance, you could explore opportunities with platforms like https://www.jaya9bd.casino/ where your digital product might find resonance with their audience.
