How do you measure your life?

I've recently read one quote that stuck in my mind and it goes like this:

Measure everything you do against 3 criteria - Purpose, Peace & Profit.

1. Does it serve my Purpose in life
2. Does it give me Peace
3. Does it add value to me & my Purpose - financially and/or emotionally, mentally, physically

Is my life full of hardship or instant gatification? I try to remove as much instant gratification as possible no matter how small
