How to create multi-language YouTube videos?

Dear community, I need your advise on how to proceed. Currently I create YouTube Videos in my mother tongue German. The videos are mainly explanation videos where I show how to use our software (in the browser) and explain everything. I am only visible in the intro or the outro. Our software is used around the globe, therefre I would like to create multi-language videos to reach a bigger audience. How would you do that? - Adding subtitles in different languages? - Auto-Translation (with AI) of my voice after the initial video is produced? - Create a script and (AI) generate videos in multiple languages? - Something totally different? I would like to hear your thoughts and experience about that. Best regards Christoph

I understand you want to expand your audience, but this is tricky. Perhaps the first two options would be ideal, but it depends on what you want to do with the channel in the future. Do you want to have income from advertisements? If so, I would stick with the German language, because these countries have quite good revenue from advertising. If you included English, it could happen that more people will come to your channel from countries where the income is not so favourable. (and that the ratio of these people will be greater on the channel than from German-speaking countries) The second thing is whether people are watching the video or listening. Because, for example, I listen to some videos as a podcast and I don't watch the picture at all, so I would miss the subtitles. In the first case I described, I would make a separate English channel for such videos, where I would probably give the AI voice. But if you wanna stick to your channel, try at first only English subtitles and observe whether something has changed, e.g. number of video viewers and the like. you can theoretically test the AI voice and see.

Are there any existing AI tools out there that fully translate your voice to another language? Also, I wonder if YouTube would scope adding audio translation to their videos? Or if you could simply upload videos in different languages? We actually launched a YouTube AI editing tool called Smartrazor today, would appreciate your input! Maybe this is a feature we can start to add to our roadmap!
