It makes a lot of difference. I have tried several products based on testimonials. Video testimonials are far more moving compared to textual ones. And the best testimonial is offline, when you hear about something from friends and family (word of mouth)
How influenced are you by testimonials?

How do you feel about the new Twitter API pricing and limits for its $100 tier?
If you are building an app for Twitter (or built already), how do you feel about the new changes in the Twitter API? Does it affect your plans to scale up in any way or have you already found an alternative?

I may want to try it because it seems like it would make it easier to interact with the right kind of people. However, if it doesn't unlock much value for me, I may as well unsubscribe it because the last thing I'd want to do is to manage another 'not so useful' subscription :)

I don't think there's a need to worry. It's understandable that it's overwhelming but haven't we been through this phase when the internet came about? Everyone was creating a website and selling everything. People were just as scared of offline businesses being reduced to nothing. But ultimately, both online and offline succeeded. Some did fail, but in the long run, stability prevails and...

By absolutely doing no work on a Sunday and not worrying about Monday.
Earlier I used to think that starting up is a 7 day job. It is - if something breaks. But find a day for yourself when you are absolutely not thinking about your product. Sunday being Sunday may prove to be the best day to take a break.
Your friends and family are free, and you can just spend quality time with them....
How do you make Mondays more enjoyable?

We are building a consumer saas tool (think of Canva). What kind of content should one focus on for marketing considering time and budgeting constraints? Some examples: Educational videos, blogs, reels, podcasts etc.

I would love to see a plugin that is an extension that I can use while streaming movies and understand the context of the scene at that particular timestamp.
ChatGPT just announced plug-ins. What are some cool plugins you would like to see made?

I have been working closely with freelancers, creators, and professionals who want to build their personal brand(s) on platforms like Twitter and LinkedIn. It ultimately boils down to few of the following things:-
1. Choose a niche that you are comfortable talking about in public.
2. Have a clear idea of what you want to talk about and the stuff people would like to engage with.
3. Create...

I think one of the alternatives would be to create a Chrome extension and scrape the data as and when the user surfs on Twitter. Have seen some companies do it for LinkedIn. Make the user download the chrome extension (which might be challenging) and then save the data whenever the user opens that (or those) particular platforms.
What do you think about Twitter API becoming paid? Any alternatives

What is the most interesting gamification strategy you have encountered for a social media?
I feel Product Hunt for one uses a very interesting gamification strategy where not only does it make me wanna engage more on the platform but consequently also improves the quality of engagement in discussions.
Stack Overflow and Snapchat are 2 other platforms where I feel the gamification is actually good.

Buy a tent then learn how to pitch it. Then rent a car, and pack it with a week worth of supplies. Travel with my dog to the remotest areas and barbecue, read, hike etc.

How do you build a moat around GPT3, 4 or any other open source LLM?
A startup or a product usually is more fundable (or adoptable) if there's a solid moat around the product. With the release of more and more open-source LLMs in the future it seems that AI based small startups will produce brilliant products but the defensibility that they build will always be questionable since big players may easily pip their product.

I don't think it will really take over their job but it may reduce the time taken to produce boilerplate code. The development would be faster and more focused on using the AI properly for which developers would have to upskill a bit and they would learn way faster than a non-developer.
