As a designer I would focus on taste, aesthetics and craft. Going to be hard for Ai to beat that. Companies will definitely flock to Ai to optimize for design speed but, everything will end up looking similar with repetitive UX patterns. To me, this means in the long term, it will be taste, aesthetics and craft that will be the big differentiator.
Are the design freelance jobs on a decline because of the new Gen AI tools?

Unconventional
I think UI/UX design is stuck in a repetitive pattern. Tab bars, icons and input fields galore. I personally believe we can rely more on native gestures and remove a lot of basic, conventional UI.
