My media system runs Linux, and so does my desktop. I wanted to control Chromecast playback easily no matter where I am, even if I'm at a computer that runs Linux.
I built this to help solve that problem, and figure other Linux users would find it useful, too.

I built MusicFS so that I could listen to my Google Music collection with any music playing application.
With Google Music shutting down in 2020, there is a short window of opportunity for those who want to migrate their collection away from the service, so I chose to release this program for anyone to use.
