If we're talking specifically about Product Hunt launches, weekends tend to be low traffic, so probably easier to get awards but fewer eye-balls on the actual product. It also depends a bit on your industry and competitors, def. don't want to accidentally launch on the same day as a competitor or even another big launch that would take away from your buzz

I'm actually dealing with this problem right now! I'm not sure if our product is good enough to attract customers or if I'm not spending enough time on user acquisition. Something that makes this problem a bit more complex is finding the wrong customers can divert the product in a completely different direction which may divert from the main user personas

One of the most important (and maybe obvious) points I learned that helped me become a better reviewer was to not think how I would have implemented but whether the PR meets the criteria that was set out.
