We launched our web version in July 2021, 11 months after I engaged the Seattle studio in August 2020 to take on the project. I started research to develop the MVP in November 2019. Engaged a small bootcamp to help build a prototype Jan 2020, but they fell through, so needed to go find another studio, hence the August 2020 studio.
We're in development of another feature which won't be...

Natalie - I completely missed this response. And yes, right now I'm nearing the end of dev on a new feature group which doesn't require personal information, but creates a "batch' of real estate locations a user can peruse and add either individually to their account, or wholesale - to create their heat map.
We found users weren't as interested in identifying individual properties themselves....

We just completed the Willowfinch MVP and have moved from usability testing to a private, limited beta. I have an extensive roadmap to add data layers and additional variables, as well as income types to the tool, but without customers or investors - that roadmap is just that, a road map.
Our current development efforts are entirely focused on the ideal Willowfinch users & customers. Those...

I self-funded development given the Covid world. I don't think that's a bad thing because the research & coding I needed to do was extensive - 43 states of state taxes, 11 states of local taxes covering nearly 2K local taxing jurisdictions, 508 Health Insurance rating areas which had to be transformed to nearly 2.3M health insurance estimates.
I find myself chomping at the bit now because...

This is a platform which overwhelms me a bit. I'm not even quite sure when to submit my product, Willowfinch. I know yours is live, so I'd love to read more about your strategy on when you added Product Hunt launch into your overall timeline.

Hello Calum!
I've spent my morning figuring out how to make my first video and how to post on instagram stories. I'm on a push to up my social media game because... well... yeah, apparently that's what founders do... they have to market themselves and their companies and their products.
I've been building Willowfinch and am now working on my G2M. So, I'm just beginning to figure out how to...

Since I work with query language, it's quite structured and I adore it because it makes sense, so it helps me hit that "alpha wave" space. I have to focus on solving the problem, getting a correct answer, figuring out how to check that answer. So, I find it really helps - especially in the midst of turmoil.

Yup. I'm responsible for the data research, data gathering, cleansing, transformation and algo development so I have to stay ahead of the front-end studio demands. All the components delivered at the same time. So, yay us.
