I think it's worth calling out Slate as an extraordinary achievement built on top of a succession of extraordinary achievements. It has taken many years of work for IPFS, Filecoin and Textile to evolve to the degree that an app like Slate could be built with them. Credit needs to also be given to Cake & the Slate team for bringing these technologies together into a chill user experience.

I’ve been using Plectica for over a year and love it. It’s the fastest way to map out a user journey, technical architecture (like a commit reveal scheme within a crypto product) or any other system.
Whenever I have a new idea, I’ll jump into Plectica to map out how it would function. In some instances I’ve found it effective for creating quick interface wireframes too.
The point is, it’s...

I began using Are.na at the start of the year. It has been, hands down, one of my best digital experiences of the past several years. It's also the first digital product that I've felt compelled to evangelize.
What makes it so great?
Firstly, the product itself is simple and straightforward. It delivers on its promise as a platform for collaborative research and creative thinking. I've been...

This product is fantastic. I've been using it for a few weeks to map out user journeys, product roadmaps, and interaction flows amongst other things and it's faster than anything I've encountered before. The real time collaborative editing is also a plus, although I haven't had much opportunity yet to experiment with it too heavily.
There are a few loose ends as is to be expected. The...

I wish Cushion was around back when I was a freelancer. While I haven't used the product myself, several members of the Domino community (www.wearedomino.com) do and swear by it.
I highly recommend the Journal (http://cushionapp.com/journal) for anyone who is interested in the craft of building software, or who is embarking on a similar endeavor themselves. When I first came across it, I read...

Thanks, Greg!
One of the biggest issues facing freelancers is a lack of knowledge and experience with how to run their businesses. It directly contributes to stress, longer working hours and lower pay. Most freelancers learn through a painful and slow process of trial and error.
We worked with the Domino community to create Spot from their collective experiences. Each spot guide is short,...

Jonnie Hallman began sharing his development process with Cushion, along with a breakdown of the costs required to run it. He also said that, incidentally, they've been great marketing tools for him. Have you considered doing something similar?

This is a great product. The design is fantastic and usability is mostly spot on. One point on the UX - there doesn't seem to be a way to add multiple child-goals to a parent at the same time. I've found myself having to create a child-goal, then go back to the parent, then create another child-goal, then go back to the parent, etc.
Do you have tags on your roadmap? I've wanted to tag...
