What exactly is the difference between v3 and v2 — I've searched here, on reddit, and on the website — please just post a changelog somewhere, rather than recount every single feature of v3 (which does not make it clear what the differences are, it just makes it clear what is included in v3)

Wisdom is universally true. Advice is contextually true. Most of what Naval says is just advice to the fortunate disguised as wisdom.
If this is a surprise, read this thread:

These are snippets, without any packaging, as such it is up to the consumer to generate and include the copyright notices - the [copy] button doesn't include the appropriate attribution nor copyright notice - and there is no guide on applying the license integration alongside one's own project licensing. Seems it is just asking for inadvertent copyright violations and plagiarism.
Why not...

Wouldn't it be more practical than having a camera in the toilet, to just have the toilet detect which devices are closest? Such as with ultrawideband chips (like apple's U1). Then the toilet can figure out it's me by noticing my iphone or watch is near it. Which would work for other equipment as well.

The problem I've faced by such simple translations spending multiple years living in Asia, is that "veganism" and even "dairy" are abstractions (abstractions in food take the form of supersets, subsets, intersections and exclusions), whereas the people working in restaurants, especially outside the developed world, have not been trained to think abstractly.
Depending on the establishment,...

The other thing to note with this is that it is not just Krisp for Windows, but Krisp goes Premium. Now you can only mute your received audio for free, not your outgoing audio. Which is not mentioned in their upgrade notes which only states: "The first public version of Krisp Mac, New Upgraded UI, Fixed number of bugs".
Do early adopters get any perks? Been using krisp since day 1, and already...

I’m very concerned about it. It is such a good idea, and I’m not sure how valve, steam, twitch, playstation and microsoft will compete unless they all teamed up to use microsofts servers.

Been a bartender user for years, and just signed up for a SetApp subscription a week ago, as it turned out I already owned 10 or so apps it offered, so I figured SetApp is cheaper than getting new licenses all the time. As is the case with Timing, which is expensive. Glad that there is now a FOSS alternative. That said, the SetApp model seems really great — as it seems to fund a lot more...

For those wondering what it is, as the product hunt page has no information, you can click through to the home page, which also has no information, but the home page lets you click through to the app store page: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ablo/id1437793326?ls=1&mt=8 which finally tells you what this app is, which seems nifty - it is a pity that it requires 3 different page traversals...

@samharrisofficial I've read Waking Up (I found the split hemisphere problem to be fascinating) and The Moral Landscape ("hurting to prevent further harm" changed my life dramatically, it essentially unlocked my potential, finally giving me a way to incorporate cruelty into my ahimsa orientated morality) as well as listened to dozens of your podcasts, however I still find these breathing apps a...
