We have had some luck with our Discord server. There are a number of users who report bugs and have suggestions on making the product better. There are typically about 20-40 people online and short discussions form around someone's suggestion. It is a low pressure way to gather feedback, and really rewarding when users help each other solve a problem.

How do you grow a community on Discord?
Here at Stashpad, we have begun to gather a small community in our Discord. Users often report bugs and share ideas on how we can make our scratchpad better for developers.
One thing we learned recently (suggested by a user) was to create a dedicated #welcome channel within the Discord to let the #general channel focus around discussion instead of fill up with welcome messages.
