Hey PH,
If you've ever tried looking for a good VPN, you know how difficult it can be to really make a good pick. The problem is that the reviews you're reading are likely heavily influenced by affiliate links, where the reviewer gets a commission for every sign up they generate.
This is so ridiculously prevalent in the VPN space, since commissions are lucrative, that you cannot escape it....

Hey everyone,
Our Android app just came out of beta so I thought it would be a great time to share it with everyone here. With help from contributors from all around the world, we're now officially on every major platform: Web, iOS, Mac, PC, Linux, and Android. If you're not familiar with Standard Notes, it's an extremely standard notes app, but aims to be un-standard every other way.
Where...

It's always baffled me how we spend so much time on every small detail of our designs, then hastily copy in Latin filler text that doesn't belong. I built Glorium as a better way to do filler text. Based on the context you're working on, whether it be medicine or sports, Glorium generates filler text that's contextual - that is, the text reads like it's related to the industry you're designing...

I'm a developer, so I have horrible posture. The thing is, I know what good posture is, I just slack off sometimes or forget that I'm slipping. I just need someone to remind me, "Hey, fix your posture." And that's exactly what this app does. We all know the basics of what a good posture is; FYP will just help you enforce that with friendly (and sometimes not so friendly) reminders at an...

Think about it - hundreds of startups are being created every single day, while domain availability continues to diminish by the second. Your best shot at getting a good domain is to completely make up a word. Making up a word is hard though. I created namewhale to solve this problem - to help startup founders come up with a nice sounding name for their startup. It started when my friend asked...

Congrats, love how much work you guys putting into seeding new product launches with a heavy lineup. My one feedback is that I don't know some of the people in the lineup, and want to find out more about them, but am not presented with any links to their twitter/personal website, so I'm ending up googling them.

I've tried a lot of GIF making apps in my day, but invariably the experience is frustrating and the quality lacking. GIFMaker was built to provide a simple experience around the web's most popular media format. It's is a simple Mac status bar application, meaning it will always be ready for use. Just drag and drop a video or a series of images, and you're done. You can optionally specify...
