Confused about what happened with my launch. Can someone who knows help me prevent it in the future?
Hello everyone. I launched my design service project last weekend (Saturday - August 26th). I hadn't meant for it to go out that day. I wanted it to go out on Sunday the 27th. Given the rules, I reached out to support about pulling it down so I could post it the next day rather than wait 6 months to improve and repost. I never received a response, so it just stayed up for days -- receiving...

Congratulations on the launch! I am in the process of putting together a quick e-commerce concept and might consider this as part of the solution.

When you make the leap between design and video tools like After Effects, every little of the design becomes more relevant; especially if you intend to make a video using the design elements, which quickly become more important that the sum of its parts.

In recent years, I've come to really appreciate the simplicity and overall problem that applications like Canva and Figma solve. The barrier to entry for a lot of people was removed, especially with the free-to-use model that Canva used as an onboarding tactic. That's what basically led me to a career in design. Though I no longer really use it, it was a great way to get started.

I would say to make sure the core concepts are 100% ready and fully functional. The entirety of a project, especially the additional features that you'd like to have sometimes prevent the project from getting completed in a timely way. See how the market/user base responds to the overall concept first and you may find out those hypothetical additions weren't to your user base as relevant as...

I've been growing one as well and have come to realize there are a few methods that are relatively easy. The offer is how you differentiate yourself from the rest.
The first thing I would do is ask yourself why you signed up to the newsletters that you've signed up to.
- What do they offer that caused you to sign up in the first place?
Then, for any newsletter that you sign up to going...

Frank, great to see your dedication to making the email approach more personalized. I think we all become jaded to emails that feel copied and pasted, despite how interesting the project or proposal may be.
I've focused on that as well with Pixter with regards to content. This is the third digital brand I've developed. After having developed two brands from scratch that have done pretty...

That's an interesting question. There's so much being done in AI, content, etc., that it seems it's almost overcrowded.
What in that space is actually less crowded but has high use case potential? I'm still working on figuring that out as well. I'll be interested in seeing the responses.

I didn't really think it would be that time intensive, but having to put together a 45 different color palettes and templates designed for each was much more of a task than I had imagined. Of course I could've done it quicker, but the part of me that refuses to sell something I don't see as quality wouldn't allow that.
It took me about a week. I would say that I focused on the system for...

I just launched Pixter this past weekend. It's a design service that caters towards those looking to brand their individual or company content .
But I'm working on my second that I'll be releasing in a couple of weeks. What do you have going on?

When feeling stuck around the area of content, pull from more abstract areas in order to generate ideas. For instance, if you're trying to come up with blog material, provide a quote that you'd like to build the content around. GPT is great at building a framework around a scarce amount of material.
Any AI tool recommendation?🙋

Launching isn't always going to go as you had hoped, no matter how much time you put into it.
- Determine what went wrong; was it a timing an issue or marketing
- Could it be that it just didn't have a product-market fit?

Hello all. Is this an appropriate place to ask for feedback regarding a launch?
I recently launched my new design project, Pixter. I meant to save it as a draft to go out tomorrow evening, but launched it by accident. Oh well.
I was curious, is this an appropriate place to request feedback?
I've had an account here for over a month, so I realize this may come off as spam, but I would like to check to make sure all of my work doesn't just go unnoticed as it seems I...

I've found this truly depends on the situation. There have been times with companies where in-person is more efficient for projects, and there have been times where that becomes a burden, slowing down the project.
Complex, collaborative digital processes within a time sometimes require in-person. The less complex, the less that seems necessary.
Anything that requires client interaction,...

The inspiration for me came unexpectedly. Although I had started working on a number of side projects to try and give myself some more leverage from taking on projects I was no longer interested in doing, the project that became my first real attempt was out of built up requests for work in an area where I hadn't recognized the opportunity before. That's what ultimately led me to starting...
