If you worked as an independent contractor, can you tell me about managing your finances?
I'd love to understand how you managed the ups/downs of a variable income. Specifically:

When you say "Focused on making freelancers part of teams, getting them equity, etc." - where does the equity come from? Is that in the marketplace, from clients? Like freelancers would/could be compensated in both cash and equity from applicable companies on the site?

Looking for Alpha testers for Balance. A financial tool tailored for the variable income worker.
We help the independent worker (aka, "gig", "freelancer", "contractor") manage their money by projecting their daily cashflow in the future, and running scenarios based on how they want to spend or save. We'll have an Alpha ready in the next 2 weeks and I'm looking for folks to participate!
