Square needs to stop launching products before they convince me to start a small brick and mortar business.

Some household items just don't need to be made "smart".
Also, it doesn't apply here, but just because some products can "Work with Nest", doesn't mean they should. I had a nightmare recently that a smart toilet was launched with Nest compatibility.

The plants only take in water when they need it. The water seeps through the porous walls. Simple, yet brilliant.

The Stendig Calendar was designed in 1966 by Massimo Vignelli. It's nice when your calendar also functions as a piece of art (it's featured in the Design Collection of the Museum of Modern Art).
The months rotate white & black backgrounds and the typeface is Helvetica. They sell out quickly but they've opened up 2016 pre-orders.

I love how he turns some of the websites into actual pieces of art http://www.newrafael.com/abstract-browsing-tapestries/

Seem to have at least doubled their users already this AM. As of 8am EST @kayvz had 8k followers—now sitting over 17k. I'm sure they collected well over 250,000 emails from their beta signup form... this launch could be record-breaking.
