There's no role that's more important...and I'm saying this as someone who has never been one. S/he's the person who practices and leads on the art of the possible with respect to how much value can be offered to end-users, as soon as possible.

I've been both, and I identify as an entrepreneur...but the reason I love entrepreneurship is because I get to work so closely with other committed people...so, by being part of a great team, I get it all!

for personal goal planning I've found that having a 12 month view on one single sheet I look at every day is invaluable. For "let's collaborate and plan together," I'm biased (as Docket's Head of Marketing), but I love being able to plan agendas for meetings ahead of time (in Docket, natch :) )

"Rebecca," by Daphne de Maurier; a page turner with a true literary quality that was only 'discovered' years later

I'll be very excited to read this assessment! I loved the study that was shared by another PH member on burnout which lead us to share this on our blog : https://www.dockethq.com/resources/burnout-in-tech-is-real-how-can-we-deal-with-it/

games may not be my concern, per se (I have two young-ish boys), but in retrospect, I wish we hadn't ok'd laptops in their room...because they live in increasing isolation

not sure it's 'netflix' exactly (could be Hulu), but finding the series on founders (not necessarily well behaved) engaging and entertaining; best acting and production = The Drop Out (Theranos/Elizabeth Holmes), most 'guilty pleasure' = WeCrashed (on Apple+), and the Uber one (on Showtime?) mostly a miss...and yet, still entertaining
What do you recommend on Netflix?

I heard a recommendation that seems right: if you can, take one day on your return to still be on PTO, but work on "transition back" items: everything from personal (laundry) to catching up on email backlog at work.

Watching the WeWork story on AppleTV, I'm struck by the slogan "Thank G-d for Mondays." I agree -- it's a privilege to have the opportunity to make a difference.

I think blockchain/crypto leads the way (Bitcoin, Luna, Cardano, Solana, and Ethereum) -- but I also think that Yelp, TripAdvisor and similar sites wouldn't be what they are without authentic (at least, in early days) participation. And, I'm still in awe of Wikipedia -- amazing and what a powerful outcome.

I have an industrial size box of lollypops (ordered from Amazon) in a spot only I know about in my house. I use them for moments that need pep. (Tootsie roll pops, btw)
