Depending on the size and placement, I usually notice the logo first if it takes up an equal amount of space as the text. However, there have been many instances where the text occupies more space, and in those cases, I tend to read the text first. If either of them is interesting, I'd click.
Did the name or logo spark your curiosity to click?

I’ve got to give it to Duolingo’s marketing team—changing their app’s front UI was such a simple move, but it had a huge impact. Literally, every one of my friends who uses the app noticed it and started using Duolingo more. It’s wild how something so small can grab so much attention and get people to re-engage.

Congrats on the launch. This is such a cool idea for allowing developers to rewind what they did over the past year.
I also noticed that the downloaded image cut out my profile picture. Besides being able to directly share it on X, I think it would be nice for us to directly share it on Linkedin as well.

I believe there are many types of criticism, but I like to categorize them into two main types: constructive and non-constructive. Constructive criticism, when delivered concisely, is much easier to process. Based on my own judgment, knowledge, and the critic’s experience, expertise, domain knowledge, and even age, I evaluate whether the feedback is helpful and worth considering. If it is, I...

Our team uses Notion to document down plans and tasks for each department. On top of having really nice and detailed documentation, we also hold regular weekly sync up across departments which I found really helpful to understand what each department is doing. This might not work if the company is huge, but for a smaller team, it's pretty helpful.
What tools do you use for team collaboration across different departments?

I'd say start with identifying what tools do you actually need and use as many free tools or lower cost tools as possible.

I take notes during meetings and often come back to my notes for memory recall. Without taking notes, I probably will only remember key decisions and a few action items. I still haven't found a way to systematically write down meeting minutes. Would love some suggestions if anyone has any :")

I started with PowerPoint, but quickly switched to Google Slides when I was in school for its easy sharing and real-time modification functionality. However, ever since I graduated from school, I switched back to PowerPoint because of its newly integrated AI design functionality. I can make aesthetic slides very easily based on the content of my slides.
Lots of my friend use Canva for its...

I love this idea! It would be amazing if there was a feature where people could share their trip itineraries along with a little journal section. The journal could be a place to reflect on what they discovered, learned, and any fun surprises during their trips. Plus, they could share recommendations, tips, or even what they would do differently if they went back to the same place again. It...

Unable to have consistent productivity. I always find myself having an instant burst of energy and would complete many tasks in a short period of time, but once I cool down, I tend to do things a lot slower. I tried to plan my day ahead to combat this problem, but please if anyone has any suggestion, would love to hear it! :)

Honestly, it depends on the project. If it’s small, I like working solo because it gives me the flexibility to move at my own pace and learn every part of the process from start to finish.
That said, I’ve realized you can’t go far without a team. Collaborating with others brings fresh perspectives, and dividing tasks helps get things done faster. Plus, there’s always something to learn from...
