Not a skill per se, but one of the most valuable lessons my mentor shared on my first day at the startup was the importance of having a sense of *ownership*. I totally get how tricky it is to balance authenticity with AI-driven automation. From my own experience, I've found that while AI has made some amazing strides, it still can't fully replace human help, especially for more complex tasks. It might also be that companies outside the AI space are a bit slower to update their systems, which can leave AI feeling pretty basic.
