I'm excited to release Nọrọ on Kickstarter. I've worked on this stool for a number of years: getting it right, making sure it fits without any nails or fasteners, making sure it lasts long. I made the first version close to four years ago and I still use it to hold my records.
Nọrọ
An elegant stool to display your favorite records and books.
You read a lot and listen to a lot of music, but there are those few books and records that define you. The ones you keep going back to. Nọrọ was built to celebrate that. It’s a stool with inbuilt storage that can be assembled in 20 seconds.

I've been writing about hardware in Africa for a couple of years and wanted to create a platform for longform stories about the people behind technology and manufacturing products on the continent.
The first feature of this kind is online now which focuses on a new machine learning process for improving tea yield in Rwanda: https://www.hardwarethings.org/features/a-sip-of-rwanda

Rap lyrics in everyday English
Rap lyrics come with a lot of slang. To unpack any rapper's lines, one has to understand where the rapper is from and re-interpret the message for yourself.
This led me to start a blog called Rap Quotables, where I rewrite rap lyrics in everyday English.

Great to add this project here!
Wonda is a math toy I designed for kids to learn multiplication (and division) in a fun way that improves memory. After months of designing and testing with kids, parents and teachers, it launches on Kickstarter!

Typical fuel gauges read only Full, Half and Empty.
If you could get the actual reading, would you?
By entering your car's details and taking a picture of the gauge, you can!
