Locofy.ai seems to be a good example. They did (and still do) a great job communicating their product.

I would send a welcome email to people that came from Product Hunt, asking for feedback, letting them know they can always reach you out and tell you what needs to be improved or if they are not having the best experience. In essence, saying something like "hey, thank you for being here, I've still got your back".
In a way, they are your early adopters that could help you get new users or...

Haven't launched yet, so I am preparing the plan too.
What I've been seeing is that many makers onboard a Top Hunter first to sort of "sponsor" the actual launch. I guess they are doing it to reach the Top Hunter's followers and climb the leaderboard faster.
So in the end, building your network (whether it is for sponsors or supporters) seems to always be a good idea =D
Congrats on your launch!

The community is great. You ask for feedback and support and you get it regardless of how new you are to Product Hunt. And I'm saying this as a newbie myself!
Why product hunt ? what is so unique about it ?

Amazing!! I really liked it. I explored it a bit and I see a lot of potential in this tool.
I found only one thing I would improve: authors profile and ownership. For example, I have a pretty common name, so I looked for my papers, I clicked on my name and I was linked with 700+ papers more with a profile description of a random "Daniel Fernandez".
I created an account but I only have a "My...

I just played it. It was really refreshing and fun! I did it in 10 minutes with not that much experience in spreadsheets, so if you have a short break, try it out!

Depending on how crucial for the company is to engage with that person. If it is a potential investor or big customer, I try to get me introduced to them by a contact we share. If we don't have anyone in common, I try to get that first. This takes a lot of time, so I do this only with key people we need.
Also, that is why being constantly building the network is really useful and saves a lot of...

In 2015 I built a platform for people to hunt cheap flight tickets across many travel agencies.
The feature that users liked the most was searching flexibility, i.e. not specifying a city and dates, but writing something like "take me to Europe next summer". Then, the platform showed cheapest trips to Europe during summer.
Our conclusion was that people sometimes had specific requests, but...

I think the best approach would be whatever allows you to move the fastest.
If you are used to no-code tools and they allow you to publish something that could help you test your idea, then go for it!
Personally, I am a coder, so I am closer to react/next than wordpress, etc.
There is no silver bullet and mixing tools to test ideas shouldn't be an issue either.
