This is an absolutely incredible app with an amazing community! Definitely my no1 recommendation when people ask me about software.

As someone that has been using Morgen for over a year now, I can say it has become an automatic and essential part of my day. I open it up on my computer more times than I can count during the day, using hotkeys to quickly and easily change, create, and check what I need to do. My old stack of Notion, google calendar, and calendly has all been replaced by Morgen.

Looking split right now but I much prefer the affordances of a lone working than the constraints introduced by a team. I recognize the affordances working in a team offers but right now, I like my 'freedom' 😅

This is an easy one for me. Obsidian - My daily note driver as a researcher Zotero - My storage of articles Morgen - My task and calendar app of choice (syncs with gcal) Affinity Photo - for all image manipulation for digital marketing Filmora 9 - Video editing software. I don't use anything else really to run my YouTube channel and my research.

This looks and sounds awesome. Do local based apps work as well? I am thinking things like Obsidian.

I have an active list (my day plan) a waiting list (thing I need to assign a day/time for) and passive list which are completed or future planned tasks. All organized in my calendar/task app of choice, Morgen.

I have used both and I find Slack to be viewed as a more professional platform, I think due to bias. I personally prefer Discord due to the customization and features available with bots. It also feels more comfortable to me, less formal.
