Hi PH! I'm Dave the CEO/CTO of RoEx. We're a university spin-out from the Centre for Digital Music (C4DM) at the Queen Mary University of London.
We're building a music production & distribution platform with a focus on using AI to create professional and balanced-sounding audio content in minutes instead of days. Think Instagram photo filters, but for music production.

Customer satisfaction survey pop up
Hi,
I want to add a quick customer satisfaction survey pop-up to my web app. Can anyone point me in the direction of some nice code to get me started? I'm planning to collect the data in firestore

Start off with one time payment model and then move to subscription?
We're still in beta, but very close to launching. I want to do the real test of seeing if someone would pay for my service.
One time payment is easier to implement code wise, but I know that subscription is more profitable. Is there much to be gained in terms of learnings from the one time model initially or should I just not waste time and launch with subscription + the option of one time...

Best way to negotiate a revenue share deal?
Hi guys,
How would go about licensing software with intention of doing a revenue share deal with the client? What can you do to make sure that the revenue being reported is real? Could this be the ability to audit accounts based on something in the contract?

How do you decide on pricing?
I'm building a web app and API for mixing audio for musicians and bedroom producers. Obviously the web app is user friendly and lets someone non-technical to create a mix, but ultimately the core tech in the API is where the value is. I'm still trying to figure out pricing for API versus what is offered in the web app and I'm not even sure where to start? A variation on my nearest competitor?...

I'm in a similar boat. I'm going to launch soon, so have recently flipped to doing the marketing side of things. I wanted to go nuts initially and build a fancy React app (would need to learn React), but I've settled for a simple flask app that provides immediate value, which is the most important thing I think. I'm waiting to hear what my users want before I start building anything...

Software Product, Promo and Demo videos
What video editing software do you use for making product demos and promo videos of software? I'm currently using iMovie, it's free with Mac, but has its limitations and can make things look a bit amateur. I'm thinking Adobe Premiere, but not sure. Camtasia looks good as well, but it's pricey. Could it just be as easy as using PowerPoint with iMovie?
