Researcher and entrepreneur, I am a specialist in the intersection between AI and pbiomedical engineering. I led BioBeats’ engineering and research team as the CTO until its acquisition into Huma, where I served until 2023 as Director of AI. I then served as CTO at Healios Ltd., a London based online mental health, autism, and ADHD service provider for children, young people and families, for 2 years, deploying GenAI solutions to help clinicians with intellectual and clerical tasks. My first PhD in Computer Science (at the University of Pisa) focused on energy models for algorithms to reduce software energy consumption, my second DPhil (at Oxford) focused on Bayesian frameworks to handle uncertainty in HRV estimations.
