I use a low-tech paper notepad. This helps me to focus on the most important tasks, instead of navigating an endless list of things to do.
For completeness, I also maintain a backlog of tasks which is useful for planning, but the top ones usually remind themselves to me.
I'm not against task management tools and used several, but they must not get in the way and help to maintain clarity on what...

The best of the worse buying upvotes proposals
Today I made my first launch of [Famxplor](https://www.producthunt.com/posts/famxplor) which helps finding activities for family vacations.
I was surprised of how much proposals to buy upvotes and promote my launch I received!
I declined all of them
Btw, PH did a great job in the [launch guide](https://www.producthunt.com/launch/before-launch#hunters:-do-you-need-one?) explaining why paying...

Thanks for sharing your context @namrata_arya !
Here is the story behind Famxplor:
After the pandemic, we decided to travel and spend time with our kids
Like most parents we are busy😅 so I started collecting blog posts of families who travel with their children instead of using generic sites
It saved us a lot of time for finding activities with our kids and led to some of our best family...
How did you come up with the idea for your product?

Hi @hannah_park2,
As a dad of two, I mainly use blog posts from other families who travel with their kids.
This way I can find authentic family-friendly experiences and know what they enjoyed at each place.
I curated a list of such family travel blog posts here.
Hope is can be helpful to other parents!
What do you do before going to travel abroad?

Great idea @nischal_nayak, I joined the community!
+1 for finding authentic experiences and organizing vacations without travel agents
This is especially important for families with kids travelling on a budget.
I use blog posts from other families who travel as my main source of inspiration.
I collected a lot of them here. This can be helpful to other parents

Hello @phillip_chan,
Indeed, when travelling with our kids we always learn a few words in the country's language.
Counting from 0 to 10, say Hello and Goodbye and politeness.
Laughs guaranteed when we try to improve our pronunciation together with our sons!
Btw, if you are looking for family travel ideas, my product [Famxplor](https://www.producthunt.com/post...) can be helpful
Who is interested in learning some basic local phrases before traveling to a foreign country?

Hello @abbas143official,
I'm working on planning our next family holidays!
That's true, except that I created a SaaS (Famxplor) to help us find activities with our kids while travelling.
And we are launching today! May the 24th be with us
What are you currently working on, and when do you plan to launch?

Hello, for planning our family vacations with kids we use:
1. Blogs from families who travel the world. I created a curated list of such posts on Famxplor. It's pretty new and has a lot of things to improve, but I find it very useful and a real time saver, I may not be objective though :)
2. Google maps to plan itineraries, but it is a generic purpose tools with lot of irrelevant info
3....
Name all products that you use for Travel purpose?

Hello, I'm Denis, dad of two and maker of Famxplor.
I experience firsthand that parents of young kids have limited time ;-)
To plan our vacations faster, I collected blog posts of families who travel the world.
They share their experiences with their children, which is relevant for us.
Can it can be helpful to your family too? Let me know!
Denis
