This is PH community, so perhaps without guessing much you could expect 1 obvious answer:
It means to have a day off from working on my own product. I'll skim through all stuffs on PH to get some hints about what my next product may look like :)
If you knew you had 1 day off in your life, how would you spend it (other than working)? π

1. Launch only a minimal feature set to resolve the maximum pain points
2. Set up an effective customer feedback loop right from day one. Do not leave your early adopters in the dark.
3. Be generous on pricing. What is the point of launching a cool product that ends up having no paying customers in the end?
4. Automate generic Q&A by having a chatbot would be nice to have. Like this one:...

I think reviews and comments on Product Hunt are pretty critical. While Product Hunt doesn't disclose the exact algorithms used, it's clear that active engagement with the community can significantly impact your success. Engaging through thoughtful comments and responding to feedback not only builds credibility but also encourages more quality upvotes and interaction from the community. This...

I think the definition of a successful launch may vary, however, if your goal is to get quality feedback from quality upvoters then as advised by the others below, there must be significant effort invested into preparation and engaging with the community before/during/after the launch date.
At the end of the day, perhaps it's all about user acquisition, so makers need to make sure that the...

Our early adopters in Japan (Softbank, WeWork Japan, FujiFilm,... ) may not be watching this launch page to give us support but thanks to them, we received a lot of valuable feedback so the team could make the product really work for their needs. We look forward to learning from your feedback as well π

1. It took kleversuite.com 6 months to get there. Most importantly we didn't intend to charge but the customer was kind enough to offer paid subscriptions :)
2. Of course, it felt AMAZING!!

There are a lot of visitors especially Japanese users who tried to compare Klever Suite with JIRA/Monday.com, or with Confluence/Backlog, etc... but there is no such apple-to-apple comparison! The reason is simple: We are providing equivalent features out of the box with no additional plugin fees, and our cost is much more reasonable π

Yes, I am :)
At some point, you may find yourselves doing things that are not aligned with your initial goals due to priorities and timing constraints, but as long as you know where to come back to, you'll be good! It's also important to make the tough decision of giving up some dreams to pursue the other dreams that you love the most (Remember not to feel bad, people change so do you ^^)
Are you pursuing your dreams? Or just watching others pursue theirs?

I think we should mention 2 things separately: the Product and the Company.
The Short Answer: Company - YES, Product - NOT YET.
Please find the verbose answer below:
1. The Company - YES
Many startups focus on building a profitable business from the get-go, and so does my company. It's this financial stability that often allows them to explore new product ideas. Achieving a profitable...

There is no right or wrong answer here.
Many products are designed to address global market challenges, necessitating the crafting of corresponding Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies. However, there are also products tailored to local markets that can still amass substantial user bases, which is a valid approach.
Global or Local? What market do you target?

Simple but true: Sometimes just build what you love, then people will love what you build.
If you and your team benefit from the product, it must be a very good sign showing that there will be a set of customers like you who would love to enjoy the same benefits as well.
