I've been a project/engineering manager for 10 years and an engineer individual contributor for 25.
For me, the only thing that determines if a team will perform well or not is this:
Empowerment.
Is the team able to make their own decisions? Fix their own problems? Choose their own work? Have time to learn and research things? Or are they constrained by your company's processes and managers...

1. Make your website responsive for mobile. This shouldn't take too long, it is just updating the UI a bit.

I take mentors with "general startup advice" with a bigger grain of salt though. Every stratup is different and there are many different paths to...
How important a role mentor plays in a startup?
