I'll start this topic with my own experience :) I've traveled and worked a lot those past few years: Morocco, La Réunion, Dubaï, Spain... I'd say in terms of work, Dubaï was the best, because of its wifi connexion (not that reliable in the other destinations I've traveled to!) and also the many networking events it can offer.
