I think this was the final block to recreating the personalized advertising shown in the movie Minority Report (2002) [20 second clip = https://youtu.be/3JNXuCaewOg?t=35]. There's still a ways to go but we can see how the dots get connected.

Could you explain 'hotel booking recommendations'?
To me, this is unclear if you are referring to picking a hotel or knowing when to place a reservation. Could you also explain how you deliver on that (behind the scenes)?

how on earth did the Apple review team properly invest the time to look at 500k stickers and make sure the rating was appropriate?

Stickers on photos is a fun idea but a bit of a stretch. If the end recipient is not using iOS 10 iMessage then they would just see the 'hat' and 'mustache' come through as sequential new message (unassociated with the photo).
I dont know of a way to learn what OS the recipient is using. i suppose they could send stickers pasted into the conversation in a place other than the next threaded...

These aren't emojis. I'm surprised Apple let's companies like this openly spread falsehoods about their product.
Celia Vigil is the Senior Director for Frameworks at Apple Inc and serves on the board of the Unicode Consortium (The folks who govern what is an emoji). The fact that Apple let's these falsehoods slip past the approval process is a failure of process....

Porzingod has his own app?! A few thoughts...
1. I'm really happy to see another example of an athlete acting as a media company.
2. There's a little stir about a conflict of interest here. If Kristaps ends up with a highlight in this app, is that because it was a 10 ten or because it's his company? Not sure it matters... maybe his fans are the ones downloading this so that's exactly what...

SpokenLayer has been trying this for 5 years. It doesnt work because the way content is written does not lend to a good listening experience. Just think of how an NPR story is told as a journey where a WSJ story is all revealed in the title and first paragraph with the details to follow.
The solution is to take the best written web content and re-write it for the best listening experience.

Was their first idea to rip off the AirBnb logo? Someone should have given them the feedback not to do that.

This looks like a large technical effort for an artists to just release their custom emojis. There should be a better way.

This is a fantastic name, even the lowercase type has a beautiful rhythm to it. But launching the site as a subdomain of Time, not so fantastic.
