this is a game changer. Before now, I used an excel spreadsheet that would auto-populate a bunch of fields with the most common permutations of people's email addresses (FirstnameLastname, Firstname_Lastname, FirstinitialLastname, etc) and then paste them into an email draft. Then i'd use Rapportive to determine which one of the addresses was actually in use. Worked really well, but the process...

Rode this thing around @ CES, can confirm it's pretty rad. Super intuitive to hop on and start riding -- there's almost zero learning curve

as far as i can tell, it's got all the same tech specs as Stir's original smart desk -- but now it's got a slimmer, more ergonomic design, and a price point that's $1,200 dollars lower.

this will definitely need haptic feedback in order to be a success. Being able to feel the keys in some way is crucial if you want to type without looking at the keyboard.

I've got one of these, and i've also tested a bunch of other immersion circulators. This one is easily my favorite.

Essentially, this thing clips onto your existing analog propane meter and gives it Wi-Fi connectivity; allowing you to monitor your tank levels from anywhere in the world, and even schedule refills from the accompanying smartphone app.

Another interesting note: it also uses the yet-to-be-finalized 802.11ah low-power WiFi standard

This is pretty brilliant. It's a rechargeable battery that can connect to WiFi, and send alerts to your smartphone through the web. Pop it into your smoke alarm, and voila; you've got a smart smoke alarm. It's also WAY cheaper than Nest Protect
