these sales came from a single link I posted on Reddit. that's it!
Lessons learned so far
just publish things you have sitting on your hard drive.
you might have a hidden product ready to sell.

that is a great question Alexey! As the moment comes in which we realize that we can learn anything the problem quickly becomes what is the one thing that we want to be best at.
It took me a while to realize this but I can't be an athlete, a freelancer, a saas founder and a local business owner all at the same time. choosing one thing and doubling down is the way to go!
as humans, we are...

honestly, SEO tools are overrated, instead of hours of keywords research, I suggest to anyone to write super valuable and long-form content that is truly worth sharing.
You can rank for any keyword but just you have to put in the work but people always look for shortcuts to avoid working hard that's why keyword planning tools and "uncompetitive keywords" are a thing these days π€¦ββοΈ

the need to stay consistent!
It's necessary to get results but unfortunately, it kills humans' creativity.
Doing the same thing to get the same results is expected in this age of industrializing everything to the point it invaded the creative space too.

write about the same topic to rank well on google.

you don't need a "cool hunter". From historical data posted by many here in PH (eg @alexanderisora ) and past experiences. there is little to no difference between using a popular hunter or hunting a product yourself.
How did you find a cool Hunter for ProductHunt?

tweet pretend it was the best thing that ever happened to you, say it was super easy and nothing wrong happened during the launch.
write a post claiming that you earned X $ in just 24 hours and drive more traffic to your website. Go on podcasts and fake that you have made it!
being sarcastic but not far from reality unfortunately π€

working to fix this issue too. seems like using Github issues is the best option to do this so far.
If you have an idea just post a full description/screenshots/implementation steps and timeline, otherwise, no need to waste my time talking about your next billion-dollar/unrealistic ideas in a 2 hours meeting. π€¦ββοΈ

Over the years of working on many products, I realized that writing a ton of ideas, visions, and todos is pure BS.
you will end up with a huge pile of text that you can't bring to reality.
If you have an idea that is possible to apply in the next few days just do it no need to write an essay about it.
if it's not applicable in the near future forget about it. ideas are worthless!!!!
How do you organize your data while you're working on the product?
