Our product did well on launch day, holding 4th in upvotes, but it never made it above the fold. Frustrating, yes, but I get why upvotes arenât the only criterion â otherwise, launches would just be a contest of who can buy the most. Still, emotionally, it felt like a rigged race where our authentic launch without any paid upvotes never had a real chance.

For me, Bluesky is a chance to start fresh â building a professional circle and holding authentic, interest-based conversations instead of chasing conversions. Networking is always part of the mix, but here it feels more natural. I hope it lasts.
Is Bluesky another fad or do they have a real chance to succeed?

We did add shoutouts. Not sure if it gave us a better score in the eyes of the PH team but the launch surely did feel more wholesome :D I mean, it really is a great way to give some appreciation to the other services for basically helping us do our work better.

Congrats on the launch! Great to see you here. Over the past few months, I've tried several conversational AI language learning apps, and I think Univerbal stands out in both concept and effectiveness. For anyone curious about AI-driven language learning, I highly recommend checking it out!

Sharing direct links to the launch page to ask for upvotes isnât penalized by Product Hunt. Some of our backers thought otherwise, but itâs a myth. Using direct links actually optimizes outreach significantly.
Preparing for my first launch. Any tips?

Great insights! We just launched no-code landing page builder Edicy (https://www.edicy.com) in free public beta to attract as many new accounts as possible. We're planning to figure out the right price through dialogue with our early active users. Excited to see how this pans out!

When does A/B testing start making sense for youâat what traffic volume?
And whatâs your go-to tool for it?
I find that setting up A/B tests is technically straightforward, but the real challenge is the grind of getting a campaign out. Often, A/B testing ends up being one of the first things we skip when time is tight. Anyone else run into this? How do you make sure it doesnât get cut from your workflow?
