I do appreciate a freelance platform that would handle the business side of matters. That's where most people (be they freelancers or creative types) stumble; they'd rather do the thing they enjoy than the business side of it.
That said: I do find myself a bit concerned about the name.

Slightly biased, since I'm in the second issue (on security and privacy), but: this is a pretty nice change of pace as far as technical writing goes. The explicit goal is to be appealing and understandable to non-technical people, rather than aiming at experienced techies. Many of the articles are relatively short and narrow, and it's light on specific technical jargon. Techies might find it...

This is fun, very "twitch"y, and goes by real quick.
Do be mindful of the physical nature, though. Kinda jammed a finger first time I played. >_<

Full disclosure, I got to play this as part of the Geek Dad review: http://geekdad.com/2015/10/letter-tycoon/ (that's me in the brown hat.)
This game was awesome. I like word-building games, but unlike with Scrabble or other ones where the supply of letters gradually dwindles, you're forced to make a bunch of tactical decisions. Not only do you have to pick the right patents, you have to dig...

This game was... surprisingly impactful. (A Slack I'm in set up a channel just to discuss how we feel after playing it.) Personally I think this site's audience, being so maker-centric, is exactly the kind of crowd that needs to experience this game. (I can't really say "play" it.)
I can't say anything more about it, because your experience with the narrative from the start is key, but I hope...

This is probably my favorite podcast (though, to be fair, I'm a total trivia buff). The hosts play off each other really well, mostly because several of them are also professional comedians, and the facts are almost always good. The whole story of graphite in particular was pretty interesting. Didn't know there used to be a graphite cartel.

This is actually pretty smart. My mom was a flight attendant for a while, and it's a job requirement to memorize all the airport codes your airline goes to. Gamifying what was just flash cards would probably make it a bit easier to learn and remember.

Watched this being played at PAX Prime last year; they set it up so the crowd could see the Oculus output, but the reader couldn't.
Watching both parts at once was really frustrating. You know that feeling when you're watching someone stumble through a new game? That's how this felt. You really need extremely strong communicators to have half a chance.
But, when's the last time you played a...

I've personally been a fan of Pretend You're Xyzzy (http://www.pretendyoure.xyz/zy/) and CardCast (https://www.cardcastgame.com/) as far as online CAH goes. The design on PYX is.... modest, to say the least, but the custom decks feature is a killer app. Great for community games.

(This used to be called Sequence, but then legal happened.)
This game is hard. You're beatmatching attack, defense, and magic all at once. I never managed to get far, and I'm fairly good at rhythm games. (But, I'm pretty poor at RPGs, so that could be a factor.)
Helping the game is the fact that it has a very self-aware style. There's plenty of meta-humor, but it's not just to mask a weak...

Fez has had its share of controversy. The game was vaporware for a long time, and had all sorts of internal tribulations associated with it. It was one of the games chronicled in Indie Game: The Movie (http://buy.indiegamethemovie.com/), and Phil Fish is.... a personality. In that perfectionist, tortured artist vein.
But the end result is spectacular. There's lots of standard platforming, and...

I have to say, the ending on this was *really* dark. Tied up the story tightly, was really well orchestrated, the final level is incredible, but... man, that can knock you into a bit of nihilism for a while.

A while back, when @rrhoover asked on Twitter about your most influential products, mine was Rock Band. Not only did the series make me a musician (by getting me over the initial hump on learning to play drums), but my first entrepreneurial efforts came as part of the Rock Band Network introduced in Rock Band 2.
It's been a little while since the series died down, but it's finally coming back....
