What are you working on Friday night and this weekend?
I’m currently working on editing all the content for my first product. Aiming for a soft launch on Tuesday, September 24th. Plan to work a few more hours tonight, all day tomorrow, rest on Sunday, back at it on Monday, launch on Tuesday.
Any other Makers out there getting after it on a Friday night, with plans to keep it going this weekend?

The latest episode of Jocko Podcast on YouTube. For anyone not familiar with the podcast, it’s primarily focused on leadership and human nature. Pretty legit. My schedule is busier each day, so I don’t get to watch Netflix or other streaming apps as much anymore. But I used to love watching inspiring documentaries, interviews, and movies about entrepreneurs, creators, etc..

How do you encourage yourself to keep moving forward in your entrepreneurial endeavours?
I’ve found listening to podcasts, audiobooks, reading books, watching inspiring videos and movies, especially of founders and people who were courageous enough to chase their dreams, and meeting with like-minded people who are doing similar things, are just a few of the main things that bring tremendous encouragement and are extremely value.

I haven’t actually tried it yet, so I’d be interested to see how others have found it to work for them.
I try to create chunks of time to accomplish certain tasks. Depending on what the tasks are, determines how much time I allow myself to work, so I do feel a sense of pressure.
When it comes to working in flow I don’t think the Pomodoro Method would work for me. I try to spend at least a...

Has anyone “Burned the ships and cut all sources of retreat?”
I’m a quote junky, and one that’s been resonating with me lately is from Napoleon Hill’s classic, “Think and Grow Rich”:
“Every person who succeeds in any endeavor must be willing to burn his ships and cut all sources of retreat, in order to maintain that state of mind known as a BURNING DESIRE TO WIN, essential to success.”

Good on you, Dan! Way to move forward despite any setbacks or “reasons” that tend to come up. I’ve found myself in a similar situation. After doing some serious reflection on this issue, I’ve found for “fear” has been the common culprit in all my “reasons” why I always pushed things back. Fear is a sneaky thing, because it can easily be disguised as something that I could always rationalize....
After procrastinating, I just decided to launch on PH.

Great question!
I tend to:
1. Turn off my phone
2. Set a timer for how long I want to work in FLOW
3. Close the door
4. Sometimes play music that will help me focus depending on what I’m doing
5. Work in silence depending on what I’m doing
6. Communicate to everyone in the house that I’m unavailable for the next block of times
7. Have a work day startup ritual
8. Have a work day shutdown...

Hi @niko_wallner you may not like this answer, but I think "it depends."
I think it depends on how much experience and familiarity you have with whatever problem you're trying to solve, or need you're trying to meet.
I think if you are looking to solve a problem or meet a need in a space you're already familiar with, that might shorten the learning curve and take a few steps out. You might...

Great question!
I found that clarifying my vision and knowing exactly what I want to accomplish, both personally and professionally, gives me a way to measure every idea and action. For example, I have a vision of what kind of business I want to be in. If the idea I am considering is not something that I feel deeply about and truly believe in, it may be a good opportunity, but I'll pass and...
